What is it?
“Showtime at the Museum” is a tip of the cap to the legendary Showtime at the Apollo. It is our way of giving access to unknown, emerging talent in all disciplines. This segment that will go on during select BLCK Market events.

Why?
One of our goals at the BLCK market is to expose and unite the artistic community. We know that with a city as large as Houston knowing all the great talent would be difficult. This is is our way to bridge those artist with The Blck Market community and give the spotlight to deserving, innovative local artist.

How will it work?
We will hold an open call for any discipline artist to submit an audition tape.

Details:

1. Make an audition tape showcasing your talent.
2. No longer than a minute
3. Any discipline of art/artist is accepted
4. Upload your submission to YouTube and send us a link via social media or email – blckmarkethouston@gmail.com

On the night:
Each artist will be given an allotted time to perform, at the end of all performances each contestant will be brought back onto stage. The winner will be chosen by the audience. Crowd responds will be the key to leaving the stage victorious. A headliner will closeout each night at the end of Showtime at the Museum.
